Exterior cleaning
Pressure Washing in Massachusetts
Driveways, siding, decks, patios and fences washed back to the color they're supposed to be — pressure matched to each surface, $45/hour with a $75 minimum and a free written estimate first.
Surfaces we wash
Driveways & walkways
Concrete, asphalt and paver surfaces stripped of winter salt residue, tire marks, moss and the grey film that builds up year after year.
Vinyl & painted siding
Soft-wash pressure and a cleaning solution that lifts green algae and mildew off the north side of the house without forcing water behind the panels.
Decks, porches & stairs
Low-pressure wash tuned to the boards so the wood grain isn't torn up — ideal prep before staining or sealing.
Patios, pool decks & fences
Slippery algae removed from pavers, stone and pool surrounds, plus fence panels brought back before they need painting.
What's included in a wash
- Walkthrough first — we agree on the surfaces and the finish you expect
- Plants, outlets, light fixtures and furniture covered or moved out of the way
- Pressure and nozzle matched to each surface, not one setting for the whole job
- Cleaning solution applied where algae, mildew or oil staining needs it
- Final rinse so no residue or streaking dries onto the surface
- Before-and-after photos of the finished work
$45/hour
The same labor rate as the rest of our work, with a $75 minimum per visit. A driveway and a full house wash differ in time, not in rate.

Best time to wash in New England
Spring — April to June
The busiest window. Winter sand, road salt and a season of mildew come off, and the surface is clean and dry in time for deck staining or exterior painting.
Late summer & early fall
Good for a second pass on shaded siding and pool decks after a humid summer, and for cleaning surfaces before they sit under snow for months.
Done without wrecking the surface
- Pressure dialed down for wood, cedar shingles and older paint — blasting them causes damage that costs more than the wash
- Soft-wash method on siding so water isn't driven up behind panels or into window seals
- Ladders and roof edges handled by insured crew, not homeowners on a rented machine
- Runoff kept away from garden beds and pool water
Bundle it with the rest of the exterior
Most customers pair a wash with the other outdoor work while we're already on site — it saves a second trip charge and gets the whole exterior done in one window.
Pressure washing questions
How much does pressure washing cost in Massachusetts?+
We bill pressure washing at our standard $45 per hour with a $75 minimum per visit. A single driveway or a small deck is usually a short visit; a full house wash takes longer. You get a free written estimate before we start.
Will pressure washing damage my siding or deck?+
Not the way we do it. Siding gets a soft wash — low pressure plus a cleaning solution — and wood decks get a pressure setting matched to the boards. High pressure on the wrong surface is what splinters wood and forces water behind panels, so we don't use it.
How long does a typical job take?+
A driveway or a deck is often 1–2 hours. A full single-family house wash usually runs half a day depending on size, access and how much algae has built up.
Do you need my water and power?+
We use an outdoor spigot and a standard exterior outlet. If either isn't available, tell us in advance and we'll plan around it.
Can you paint or stain after washing?+
Yes — washing is the right first step. We let the surface dry fully, then handle exterior painting or deck staining as a second visit so the finish actually bonds.
Which towns do you cover?+
Brockton, Boston, Quincy, Randolph, Stoughton and the surrounding South Shore and Greater Boston towns.
